FYND Talent Solutions is sharing an exciting opportunity for professionals passionate about Intellectual Property (IP) and pharmaceutical research. Aurigene Oncology is looking for a Research Associate – Intellectual Property Management to join its Bengaluru team.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct novelty, patentability, and Freedom-to-Operate (FTO) searches for new chemical entities and therapeutic targets.
* Perform patent and scientific literature searches using industry-standard databases.
* Analyze prior art and prepare patentability assessments.
* Maintain intellectual property dockets and monitor statutory timelines.
* Support patent filing activities in India, PCT, and other global jurisdictions.
* Draft patent specifications, technical responses, and claim amendments.
* Coordinate patent prosecution activities across multiple jurisdictions.
* Collaborate with scientific and legal teams to strengthen IP strategy.
Required Skills
* Strong knowledge of Intellectual Property Management.
* Understanding of patent drafting, filing, prosecution, and lifecycle management.
* Experience with patent databases and scientific literature searches.
* Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a research-driven environment.
