Job Description – Team Lead, Formulation R&D
A leading pharmaceutical organization is seeking an experienced Team Lead – Formulation R&D to lead formulation development activities and drive products from concept through commercialization.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead formulation development activities from concept to commercialization.
* Conduct literature and patent searches, scientific publication reviews, regulatory guideline assessments, and innovation analysis.
* Plan, design, and execute formulation development studies.
* Prepare and review technical documents including development protocols, MF, MPS, PDR, CPD, QTTP, FMEA, SDS, and related documentation.
* Support regulatory approvals and product licensing activities.
* Manage scale-up, exhibit batches, and technology transfer activities.
* Review development reports, investigation reports, SOPs, and departmental documents in line with GMP requirements.
* Guide formulation activities across laboratory, optimization, scale-up, and commercial batches.
* Drive troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.

* Injectable dosage forms
* Ophthalmic dosage forms
* Solid dosage forms
* Semisolid dosage forms
* Formulation development and optimization
* Scale-up and technology transfer
* GMP and regulatory requirements
* Technical documentation and team leadership
Ideal Profile:
* Strong experience in Formulation R&D leadership.
* Proven expertise across multiple dosage forms.
* Strong understanding of GMP, regulatory requirements, and product development.
* Excellent technical decision-making, problem-solving, and team-management skills.
