A leading pharmaceutical organization is looking for experienced Formulation R&D professionals with strong expertise in Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) and Oral Peptide Formulations.
📌 Department: Formulation R&D – Oral Solid Dosage (OSD)
📍 Location: Jeedimetla, Hyderabad
💼 Experience: 5–10 Years
🎓 Qualification: M.Pharm / M.S. / relevant qualification in Pharmaceutics or Pharmaceutical Sciences
🧪 Specialization: Oral Peptides / Peptide Formulations
🔹 Key Responsibilities
* Lead and execute formulation development of oral peptide drug products
* Hands-on experience in OSD formulation development, including tablets and capsules
* Conduct pre-formulation studies, excipient selection and formulation optimization
* Develop formulations from lab scale through exhibit/pilot scale
* Apply DoE, QbD and risk-assessment principles
* Coordinate with Analytical R&D, IP, Regulatory, Engineering and Manufacturing teams
* Support scale-up, technology transfer and exhibit batch manufacturing
* Troubleshoot formulation, process and product-performance challenges
* Prepare and review development reports, protocols, batch records and technical documentation
* Knowledge of peptide stability and degradation pathways is preferred
🎯 Ideal Candidate Profile
✔️ 5–10 years of relevant Formulation R&D experience
✔️ Strong hands-on experience in OSD formulation development
✔️ Experience in oral peptide formulation development is preferred/required
✔️ Experience with scale-up and technology transfer
✔️ Strong scientific, analytical and problem-solving skills
✔️ Exposure to dissolution, bio-relevant studies and in-vitro product characterization is an advantage
