🧪 Experience:
* M.Sc. (General/Organic Chemistry) + Diploma in Patent Law with 8–12 years of experience, or
* Ph.D. with 5–10 years of relevant experience
Aurigene Oncology is hiring an experienced Scientist – Intellectual Property Management to join its innovative oncology research team in Bengaluru.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Manage intellectual property and patent matters related to drug discovery
🔹 Conduct patentability and freedom-to-operate (FTO) searches for new chemical entities and related technologies
🔹 Draft and file patent applications in India, PCT, and international jurisdictions
🔹 Handle patent prosecution for chemical entities, pharmaceutical formulations, polymorphs, and methods of use
🔹 Respond to office actions and manage claim amendments across global patent offices
Desired Skills:
✅ Strong knowledge of patent drafting and prosecution
✅ Expertise in pharmaceutical and chemical intellectual property
✅ Experience with global patent regulations and filings
✅ Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills
